I did manage to get a Rheumy appt, but no help whatsoever. Wherever I have pain, stiffness etc & how bad it’s not PMR or GCA related. They only really bother about CRP & its 1 not interested at all that ESR has gone from 7 to 19 in last week or 2. Told to finish my 2 year Prednisolone taper, it’s never been changed in the 2 years. Keep exercising etc. As regards pulsing, buzzing etc in one ear only must go back to GP & it’s for them to sort out.

I repeat - you will get nowhere with that group. They will deny anything that doesn't fit with their worldview. And your GP is convinced.
