Sorry…This might be a bit long and rambling…During March I completed a very slow taper to 1.5 mg pred and I stayed there for 3 weeks trying to decide whether the muzzy head and fatigue I felt were just the adrenals adjusting. Then I felt worse and decided to go up to 3mg (first time on 3 for about a year). After a few days we were staying with daughter and her family over Easter and joined by our son from America, and I still didn’t feel right so went to 5mg for 6 days. Then, back home and feeling better I dropped to 3mg , planning to gradually drop back and eventually stay on 2mg Now my left arm is slightly aching (better when I walk) and I have cold hands. (They have always tended to be colder than my husband’s) Has anyone else had these symptoms?

My first thought was that you need someone to look around PMR and possibly even large vessel vasculitis. The feeling off, upper body symptoms and cold hands doesn’t sit right.

I agree with SnazzyD - I think you need some medical input on this. Especially with the discomfort in the left arm.
