Me again!!

I just want to ask what my taper would be now.I was in a major flare So I upped my dose from 7.5 mg to 10 mg.That didn't work so I upped it to 12.Iam now on day 10.What would be a safe drop now Thank for any help!!

Well obviously 7.5mg was too low! How had you been tapering? Not 2.5mg at a time I trust?

No just .5 a month.I went down to 7 and flared.I was under stress with my granddaughter with a mass in her gallbladder.Shouldnt have even tried to lower.Good news it was just sludge they seen.

NEVER taper when you are under stress!!!!

In that case returning to 8mg seems reasonable - see how you get on!

Usual advice is down to just above the dose that caused the flare .. so in your case 8mg .

Whether you do that in one step - or try it in two steps - so to 10mg for 5-7 days and then down to 8mg is up to you.

As can I ask politely you don’t entitle your post - “Me Again” - we seem to be getting that a lot lately- and it’s meaningless -

“Advice after flare” or similar is much better and gives us a clue as to what it’s about, and usually brings up related posts on same subject. Thank you.. 😊
