The condition dry eyes is quite common with autoimmune conditions - often they cause them to produce a lot of watery tears. You can get eye drops that help from the chemist or optician.

Yes I do. I get Theoloz Duo, preservative free, dry eye drops on prescription. A boon, because they are expensive and they work. It is a side effect of Pred I think, it has gone on for years.

Although long off Pred, like SJ I use Theoloz Duo, and at last check up optometrist suggested an heated eye pad and wipes - so I got these - from well known online retailer -

I don’t have itchy eyes! But was itching all over in bed last night. ! Anything to do with reducing pred?

Yes, but I do have blepharitis, so dry eyes the norm. Drops, drops & more drops!!

I get dry itchy eyes at night when sat watching TV, think it's because I'm tired. On a cold windy day they stream easily, looks like I'm crying! I use some eye drops from the chemist but like SJ says they're expensive, about £5! Don't use them every day though.

Dry eyes seem to be pretty common ...I had eye drops from the opthalmologist and developed an allergy to them and now just use Systane, OTC, and the warming eye mask. The Doctor told me there are two distinct types of dry eyes and I did not have the type that could damage my eyeball or vision... keep it moist. If I remember to do everything I'm supposed to, I'm all set. 💞
