prednisolone withdrawal.

I posted earlier but not sure if it’s been seen. I went down from 7.5mg yesterday to 7mg ( every four weeks) by pm i developed tenderness on head. I have been fine, bloods done last Wednesday all normal range. I’m not sure as I’ve seen before that if it’s withdrawal it’s quite quick to get effects and if it’s a flare it’s usually longer ( about a week). Should I just persevere for a few days or not? Any advice appreciated. 🙏

I am not sure if the tenderness is related to prednisolone withdrawal and suggest that you persevere with your current dose unless the tenderness becomes worse. if it does, then perhaps contact your GP.

yes i think you should continue i've been down to 8mgs for the past two weeks and at first felt stiff and sore in the mornings but decided to persevere. now things seem to have settled so hopefully i can continue for a couple of weeks more then drop again. good luck
