Prednisone and SSZ

Is 3000mg SSZ sound like too much if still reducing prednisone. I'm on day 10 SSZ at 2000 mg SSZ and due to go to 2500 mg on day 13 and then level off at 3000 on day 16? I'm reducing prednisone by 2.5 a week Currently at 15 mg

Did you start at 2000mg? Normally the starting dose is suggested as 500-1000mg and building up slowly to reduce the risk of GI intolerances.

I started at 500 mg and increased by 500 every 3 days.
