dissolving preds

Does anyone else dissolve their prednisolone? The latest boxes I have say they should be dissolved and taken after breakfast. I have been doing that even though the taste is pretty unpleasant and I follow it up with a couple of spoonfuls of yoghurt.

They are not supposed to be used unless essential (they cost 30 times as much as ordinary!) so it suggests there may be a supply problem. I bet they do taste vile - even a cut normal one is pretty horrible if the cut surface touches your tongue!

I have the coated version.

I have the bog standard ones and I push them into the middle of a small piece of date so that they don't touch my tongue.

I put my pred in a gelatin capsule.
