Thoughts from an enquirer re GCA.

Thank you for contact. I connected to learn anything i could for my daughter. She has GCA.

Personally I've had a disastrous year and still have much stress. I'm 97.

My own medical situation has many strands. ... my change of living, from one county to another, although not far in miles, has meant changes in Medics etc. I've limited my requests although I've found them helpful.

The appalling strikes situation deters me further.

My 4 children's grandfather was a GP and surgeon at the start of the NHS. He was decorated for his work at Gallipoli. He died in 1954 with very few pay resources. I'm sure he'd have been horrified today.

ADMIN occupies me still but I may enlarge my medical story when things are easier.

Anyone who has seen the Families' organised protest about the possible closure of many ABBEYFIELD Society houses will understand that time is precious.

I appeared in a small clip on Meridian regional TV. on Thursday last, voicing my despair at the thought of a further move, after under a year here. And to Where?. [Part of the campaign to save this 'Old Bakehouse'. ]

My super daughter had her clip too.

On with the day. Bless you all.
