pain free in hotter climate !! ? Cause

Hello everyone

I was diagnosed with PMR in September last year . Was on 15 mg pred, now down to 8mg . My question is … I am currently on holiday in Spain , relaxing more probably and my gluteal muscle pain has COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED !! In the UK it’s alway present !

is this likely to be warmer weather or doing less exercise ?? I am pain free 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Accept it gratefully - I can't say our hot periods make me feel that much better! Rain and wind are my pet hates for pain. I would think less exercise probably helps too.

Hot dry weather is, apparently, usually, don't ask me for the reasons, better for joint/muscle problems. Maybe the relaxing also helps.

Could it be magic wrought by extra Vitamin D from the sunlight?

all of the above! Def stress always increases pain and good warm weather and sunshine is healing. I always notice that I get better or move ahead with tapering in the sprung summer months and in the very cold yime of the year it is worse. For me anyway.

Enjoy the weather and your vacay!!!!
