Hi there and welcome to the forum. A little more information about the diagnosis, Pred etc would be useful for us to give you answers. Is there any reason why you are looking for a Rheumatologist at this stage as opposed to your GP? Lots of information in the FAQ'S when you have some time to peruse them.

Is there a problem with your GP looking after you? The vast majority of patients are looked after in primary care unless there is a problem with the diagnosis or they are particularly atypical.

However, the best PMR rheumatologist in the London area doing private appointments is Rod Hughes in Chertsey, Definitely worth the journey!

If you have a good GP, stick with them. 75% of patients with PMR never see a rheumatologist. If you really need a rheumatologist, Dr Hughes in Chertsey mentioned by PMRPro is a good idea. As long as you don’t go to the dreadful guy I visited in Harley Street!
