where do I go from here please?

I am in a quandary. I was diagnoses with PMR August 2021 and have followed Dorset Lady,s tapering plan ( Thank you so much it is a God send ) with no ill effects at all, and got to between 5.5 mgs and 5 mgs , then three days ago WHAM lower back and hip girdle both shoulders and neck were so painful. I remembered the advice and ,for the last few days have gone up to 10 mgs again , this has helped a lot - but still not 70% better- what I am thinking ,is as I am not sure what the next move is , of continuing with 10 mgs for another 4 days ( making 1 week |) then try to drop to 7-5,g for a week and then to 5.5mg obviously I have no idea what I am talking about and so would like an opinion as if this would be a good idea, or should I stay on 10mg and then go down to 5.5MG ? . I would give the 10mg between 7-10 days (14 is okay won’t stop you dropping down).

Then 2 steps down as you suggest.

I agree with DL - but I am wondering whether 5.5mg is quite enough and the flare was already building slowly there and going below it woke it all up. I'd give it longer at 10mgm 3 days is not enough to tell, and go back to 6mg again.
