Hi.just a question.i am on 1mg.and cause it it won't cut into 2 half's,drs.has said to take 1mgs.every other day.what does anyone think about it.advice would help me.thanks.

Plain white pred? Why won't it cut in half?

I would recommend using one of the slowed tapers - listed under tapering in the FAQs - rather than going directly from 1mg every day to only on alternate days,

Have you got a pill cutter. Mine cuts a bit unevenly but I cut a batch and use the bigger halves first. It creates a slow tapering effect.

if you get the 1 mg that doesn’t have the coating on it you can cut that in half. That is better than taking 1 every other day.

Hi Flosy i have a little pill cutter device someone gave it to me it s great . hopefully you can find one somewhere.i am on 2.5 now but agree best to do it gradually rather than alternate half a milogram does make that difference . I got to 2 mg some months ago had been on 2.5 for a while and after a short time symptoms returned so i went up to 4 and very slowly reducing . Hope you find a pill cutter .
