well as I posted couple days ago, still have tenderness scalp, skull, back of head when touching or shampooing, front right forehead. Yesterday and this morning, noticing back of neck cords hurting and tight, so now wondering if this new sympton is from neck tension, or the way Im sleeping, but doesn concern me with scalp, head tenderness, no aching though and few weeks ago had eyes tested again, and sympton was having then, seeing kind of little flashes, light, optometrist said was an "ocular migraine"" which I had never heard of this has happened to me once in blue moon over past year, again, no headache, so I will try contact rheumy, but may be difficult to get any response from him , and at this time of year, next appt isnt until late February, anyway, I have been on 4 mgs for about 3 mos now, but this morning decided to take a 5 mg tablet, and I suppose If that was to work, reduce head sympton would take a week or so, is that correct for those of you that have advised increasing to last dosage , ?

Do you mean you’ve taken 5mg instead of 4mg, or as well as your usual 4mg (so 9mg in total?)…
If you mean 5mg then as we said in reply to previous, it’s not likely to make much difference - if you mean you’ve taken 9mg, then hopefully shoukd shoukd see an improvement within a few days.
But you do need to get medical advice as a matter of urgency….irrespective of the time of year.
