A little light headed after Pred

About 3 hours after I take my 15 mg of pred I get this light-headed feeling and feel fatigued. Today I felt off balance. If I rest for an hour or so it goes away. I am wondering if this is the Pred kicking in. Any thoughts?

Probably - it is really not uncommon. Several people I know who experienced the same took pred before bed so they slept through it!

About 2 hours after non-coated Pred (before I switched to coated Pred) I felt groggy and uncoordinated. When on high doses I had to lie down for a couple of hours until it wore off. This all improved with dose reduction and I took my Pred at the end of the day so I would be in bed for the worst bit.

Yes, I've had the 11am 'slump' (3 hours roughly after taking Pred) for a long time. I'm now on 5mg and have been for over year to accommodate two major ops. It seems to have worn off and I do actually think my adrenals are working . I found if I went in the garden and pottered bit it seemed to go away.

Hi.I have it as well. Every time I stand up I have to stand still and close my eyes and wait a few seconds. It is annoying for sure. If the pred dose is too low it's worse... What I haven't done is analyze the timing of it like you all have done. It doesn't worry me....it's just not fun. Take care!
