I have GCA and PMR, diagnosed in September. Just wanted to say how good it is to get the newsletter first thing in the morning. After waking up to find I still have the headaches and all the other debilitating symptoms caused by the illness and the medication, it helps to know I am not alone and there are others out there struggling to live with an illness I'd never heard of before which has changed my life!

Not alone
Amen to that! I don't know where I'd be without it
I think there are many of us here who would fully agree with that sentiment.
Couldn't agree more So good to know that other people are experiencing the same My GP surgery doesn't understand GCA whatsoever I was being treated for acid refux for 2 weeks from then Eventually my husband took me to A&E Only to be told I had 2 compressed fractured vertabraes ! !! So my advice is follow your own instincts also
Glad you feel supported & please ask any questions you may have.

I couldn't agree more. Sounds like we both started this journey at the same time. My biggest struggle so far has been with fatigue. I've gone from being superman to couch potato.. exaggerating a bit butnot too much. I'm hovering at 25 MG PRED until I finally see a rheumy on MON. All the best to you.
