In every post I have looked at this am everyone seems to be 49, an anaesthetist retired military etc. What is happening at HU?

It was happening to me last night- using an iPhone. Very weird! A couple of the older posts still seem to be affected this morning but the new ones are ok! Glad it’s not just me 😂

Yesterday afternoon all the avatars were “greyed out” for some of….I report it, sure HU didn’t believe me at the beginning - until others reported as well.

I've had more military men and orthopaedic surgeons from the USA than usual contacting me via Facebook this week. The name changes, the photo stays the same .... Tempted to write back and ask them a few medical questions. I blame the Russians ...

Dunno, some are 'catfish' I'm told. There are lots of fake profiles infiltrating all sorts of threads and groups on Facebook and it seems to have got worse recently

I keep wondring if I should gt myself out there and try dating Apps, but it all sounds a bit scary, and I'm pretty happy with teh single life all in all, there are more pros than cons. Just miss having someone to go on holiday with and have fun with. Or sit and do nothing with

Some holidays cater for single people very well without being quasi dating set ups. Depends what you like I guess. No way Jose any dating apps for me. Nice to share things but have space too.

Maybe I/we'll be fitter/fit enough to do a bit of Europe next year! I was hoping to get to northern Germany in September but just don't have the stamina, and that combined with all the hassle of flight and train cancellations and disruptions, Covid still being around etc and yikes Sept is only 2 weeks away now and I haven't booked anything so I think I'll aim for June next year instead. I've long fancied seeing more of Italian lakes and mountains too eg Dolomites. What's on your bucket list?

New Zealand would be nice and I have never been to Spain. But I have been to so many of the usual suspects. Norwegian fjords and the Northern Lights - but they'd have to be guaranteed!!

Hurtigruten were guaranteeing you seeing N Lights on their trips up Norwegian coast. If you didn't they offered a free cruise. That was BC, not sure if offer is the same now. I do find cruising the ideal holiday as you see a lot of different places without difficult travel, no multiple packing and unpacking, time to crash out if you need to.

Depends on the cruise I suppose - my one experience was far too American I fear as I don't do shopping and "entertainment"!

They are definitely not all like that. My 'don't do's' are similar and I am not too fond of very posh evening wear. I make an effort (for me) but need to feel comfortable.
