I would have thought only in specific cases but I don't really know. Afer all, some of us have loss of hair as a result of being on steroids - mine is getting thicker and curlier by the month!

Not sure you would want it! It is getting positively afro!!!! But totally white ...

Saves a fortune though - haven't been to a hairdresser for 2 years. But is seems to be getting shorter - because it is curling more but very frizzy

Went the way of all flesh with Covid lockdown! Haven't been to a hairdresser for well over 2 years. I got through that first awful growing out period during lockdown when there was no choice at all. Hairdressers were closed for a very long time and then the restrictions made it hard to get appointments. Then another lockdown! And OH being ill and I didn't feel able to leave him long enough. By then it was looking fairly reasonable and people kept admiring the waves and curls. So I embraced the return of the curly me from my 20s. Not quite as smooth as then but when it is just washed it isn't far off!

Back to the 70s in all too any ways - In time for MY 70s ...

It is Methotrexate that seems to be the real culprit for hair loss.

I lost hair along the base of my skull and around my ears about 11 years ago which has got worse. I cut what hair I have very short a few months ago and it hasn’t grown. I have at least four autoimmune conditions. I think my body is trying to kill me off! 😳

I was very ill at the beginning of getting PMR. I had passed out and had to go to ER. They found nothing except a uti I didnt know I had. About 5 months later my hair started falling out . I had shoulder length straight hair that looked very thin and limp now. Then it started to grow back into a curly frizz. under the straight hair . gave it lots of body. Along came covid 10 months ago and about 2 months after started loosing hair again. Well its growing back and after a shampoo I have below the shoulder length curls everywhere not too bad except the next day I cant comb it and the humidity makes it frizzy. Its good and yet not so good .

"the humidity makes it frizzy. Its good and yet not so good "

Exactly!!! Get yourself an afro comb - very wide tines. Gets through the frizz. I wet mine every morning and it dries to a better state
