Pain last week on right side of head

Just to say thanks to everyone who wrote back to me last week regarding the pain in right side of my face. It has now worn off and after being a little tired for about 3 days I feel ok. On 7 mg I reduced from 8 mg 1 week and 3 days ago. But only felt tired about 5 to 6 days into it. But just to say I am ok now. So hoping to go down to 6 mg. in a few weeks thanks for your reply s

Glad you are feeling better. Can you cut your tablets? You might find half a mg easier, especially if you combine it with following a slow taper schedule.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. From experience I can wholeheartedly agree with HeronNS. Reduce by no more than 10%, it is fiddly at lower doses but I've done it and it helps. If you haven't tried before, use a DSNS reduction plan and stay on the new lower daily dose for a month before reducing again. I know this means it will take ten weeks per reduction but for those of us who flare easily or who are troubled by adrenal insufficiency and steroid withdrawal this is a game changer. Once you get down to 5,4,3 mg it really helps. I'm now on 2.5mg and about to start reducing to 2.25mg. Interestingly for the past few days I feel better than I have for a long time. I'm assuming this is because my adrenals are functioning, albeit partially…You will get there, but it may take longer than you'd like.
