At Zero!......

Not daring to post as state of zero pted could indeed be a false dawn! Who knows? PMR symptoms started in 2017. Diagnosed October the same year. By autumn 2018 I was down to 6mg. In spite of selling up in France and returning to England, a son who was living with us (long story) and who was in the middle of a psychotic breakdown on our return I.

I've had a couple of flares, caught early and stubbed out with help and advice from our wise women on the Forum. The last of these flares was last summer. Since then I tapered slowly down from 3mg. Staying at each dose for a month and decreasing in 0.5mg steps.

I've had a few aches this week but these responded immediately to Ibuprofen which I am now reducing.

Keeping fingers crossed all goes well.

Thanks to everyone for all their help and support.

So sorry for your troubles. Cautiously happy for your remission - it has certainly been tested. You have been through so much trauma and changes of late. Shshsh! Fingers crossed for you! 🤗🌷

If the Ibuprofen is working at least it is probably not the PMR trying to raise its ugly head again.

That's great news, so pleased you made it! It gives us all hope in our journeys. I'm on my way to zero for a second time of asking....keeping everything crossed.

Where are you now? It is do tempting to rush when the dose seems so small, but as Pro keeps reminding everyone ½mg is a lot! Good luck😊
