Final upt dose of pred to 30mg from 15.Is a split dose as effective as all on morning?

Did you speak to the GP about upping the pred that much? That is a very large increase and more than PMR usually needs.

A split dose can be MORE effective than one dose all at once - but you can't tell in advance as everyone is different.

What did doctor say? If anything.. with a doubling of dose hopefully the single morning dose will sort it, and last full 24 hours. Is that when you have been taking it? Shouldn’t make too many changes at one time.

Doc says one marker up because of pmr one down because I’m on pred ,and white blood Sells down a bit because of pmr .😜
