Could a pain like tooth hake in small hours of morning in both shoulders going down to arms be classed as a flare .Then it takes 4 or 5 hour to be pain free.
Still after starting on 15 pred mhg not tablets 🤣 ,also would I be correct in thinking more chance of contacting GCA on too little , than too much
Thanks 🥺

I found you under Rocketronzy when you joined the forum in 2017 and that you previously came off Prednisolone. I really feel that your GP should refer you to a rheumatologist as I would say that you need more specialist care. Please ask your GP if she will arrange this for you. If she refuses it may well be time to change your doctor. Perhaps your lovely family will support you in doing this.

Was the pain in your tooth? Sorry you’ve explained already .If so try the dentist. Under-treating PMR could make you more vulnerable to GCA. An unusual headache, jaw pain when chewing and any eyesight issues are the warning signs. I agree with 123-go. A Rheumatologist ought to take a look at you. You clearly are suffering at the moment and get kind of brushed off by your doctor. Any of the GCA symptoms and you need to go to the emergency room pronto.
I suppose a toothache type pain in the shoulders is unusual. I find it very difficult to describe my pain. Must be difficult being a doctor and understanding people’s aches and pains.
Looking back at your former posts, it sounds like 15mg has never sorted out the pain. It is a low starting dose, so how about asking your GP whether it needs to be increased? If you've only been on pred a couple of weeks, I take it you've got a blood test in the neat future, to check inflammation levels?
Done that’s to no avail she says ,that is the correct does I CARNT GIVE YOU ANYMORE😱 with me luck it wouldn’t show too bad ,I’m not too good with marker’s 😵💫 All the best thx 🍀🍀🍀
