Following my blood tests on Monday (ESR 39 and CRP 5.3 ) my telephone consult with my GP went really well with her suggesting as did PMR pro a restart dose of 5mg. So I am on day 3 and feeling a little improvement in symptoms although not the miraculous relief after first dose of 15mg back in Feb 2020 when first diagnosed. Hoping 5mg will be enough to get on top of things in the meantime. GP has booked another blood test in 3 weeks and review appointment to follow. If all goes well she is happy for me to manage tapering as per DSNS method that she had never heard of but was very interested in when she asked me to 'talk her through it '! So, feeling quite positive about things.Just hope 5mg is going to be enough. Time will tell I guess. Thanks for all the support and for reading.

Two or 3 days at 10mg and then continue with 5mg might kick start things?
OK. Thanks for that. Do you think that because I have not had more significant relief that it's unlikely to happen if I just continue with 5mg ?
Hopefully now another Rheumatologist on board with the slow taper method! X💐
