Is there any information I might access about diet and GCA and PMR? Can someone suggest a reference?

I live in Canada and am new to the group. It has already been a help to me.

I was diagnosed this past November, but had GCA 12 years ago. There is much new research. My dosage at present is 35 mg for the next 3+weeks.

I see articles about anti- inflammatory foods but wonder is there a good reference I might access.

When it comes to diet thebest option alongside pred is low carb - which helps keep weight gain in check and also reduces the risk of developing pred-induced diabetes. Since that also involves cutting simple carbs and added sugar it is also anti-inflammatory - sugar is pro-inflammatory.
