I hope it’s darkest before dawn for everybody who had a rotten 2021. Are you braving NZ this year? Immediate relatives can go to OZ. My eldest daughter has a new house with its own woods. It looks lovely.

Fingers crossed, but they aren’t opening borders to non residents (except for certain circumstances) until April at least - so who knows - and it’s long time to next Christmas.

Thank you , yes its been a while and one heck of a bouncy ride to get here but I've managed to write a post for the first time in ages and my hope us to be able to be back more often to support you all and keep up with my friends.I hope things are getting more positive with you too and we all have a better 2020 , hugs , Bee x

I just know there are lots out there feeling worse~! On a scale of one to ten....I think I am about a 5....but, thankfully, my head is happy!!! I'm fortunate in many ways.💖and I"m at 17.5 mg....Yay!

Glad you are doing well.

I was looking back at the past couple of years as I answered a question in the Arthritis Action community and realizing how much better I feel physically. Not so sure about emotional and psychological wellbeing, however. The social isolation seems harder since we returned from our trip to Ontario and Omicron suddenly exploded everywhere.

I had a lovely New Year’s Day. I didn’t join my Scottish OH who needed to open the front door to let the new year in and the back door to let the old year out. I fell asleep to an audiobook and blessed myself for it today, with a bustling family dinner to host. The best day yet. Their jet lag has worn off, they were lovely. Thanks for asking Heron. I hope you had a nice time too. I really hope this year leads us back to normal.

My son and his partner and ten month old came for lunch and I served the special scrambled eggs which traditionally (until this year) had been the random meal we would have on Christmas Day after the gifts had been opened. It was nice.
