I posted recently concerning the fear and dread the withdrawal of this excellent treatment causes myself and fellow sufferers of GCA/PMR. To further update I am a constituent of Sajid David and have therefore e-mailed him to express our shared distress at having this treatment given and then taken away returning to cruder more chemically damaging regimes. I have pointed out that unless you have had this sword of Damocles this fear of sudden onset of blindness hover over you then it is hard to imagine the psychological impact of having such protection removed and would he advocate for us to remain on such an effective treatment. Of course if I gain a response I will let the forum know.

Well done AncientMariner! Who knows, it may strike a cord with him. Especially as it is given for as long as required for RA. It is a kind of discrimination against older people and arguably women because of the greater proportion of female sufferers..
Well done!
Thank you AM. Let's hope it's a case of not what you know, but who you know!
If he replies, I shall be well impressed. No point in writing to our MP about anything, his seat is very safe. I hope you pointed out you're really quite a whippersnapper, not Ancient at all, so he won't be tempted to ageism!
I will do that.
