Hi Everyone,
To let you know that all your advice re not panicking / getting myself into a state about GCA or my brain scan at Hospital today has proved correct with no signs of TIA /Stroke or anything else!
Very good attention by Consultant (very genned up on PMRGCA ) and his SHO, the verdict in the end being that I had indeed probably just pushed myself too hard plus the blow on the head, and the PMR was just letting me know who is boss at the moment. I can only say that that the NHS performed incredibly well for me throughout with nothing really left to chance.
And what can I say to all of you who sent me so many hugs and words of encouragement - so that I went today quite hopeful that all would turn out OK AND that I would be able to face and cope with whatever might be the outcome? Thank you SO MUCH everyone. What a wonderful thing this forum is, due to all you put into it.
Onwards and upwards!
