Reduced sweating

I’ve been on 2mg of preds for 6 months and have reduced to 1.5mg over the last 3 days. Have noticed a reduction in neck pain and excessive sweating of face and neck when out walking today. Could this reduction have caused it so quickly, hope so!,,

That’s cheered me up. I’m on 3.5mg at the moment and having a lot of sweats plus neck and shoulder pain! I so look forward to seeing an improvement as I reduce. Wishing you all the best x

Strangely I didn’t associate my lack of sweating during exercise with pred but now I am back down to 3 Mg noticed I sweat a lot while exercising which didn’t happen at 5 or above .

I still had bad head sweats at 3mg but they were a sign of me overdoing it...which I do most days, tbh! But I’ve been out back up to 5mg & they are no worse!

Spoils my walks when I have to suffer the head sweating every time.

Mine, too, & walking us our main leisure activity. I’ve just bought two cooling cloths & hope they may help, in the house it’s fine as handy source of cold water, but out in the forest? I use a tea towel wrapped round my head quite often!

That’s not a bad idea, I put the hairdryer on cool and blow it on my face and neck when I get home!
