Is nicotinic acid( Vitamin B3) a useful supplement for sufferers from PMR?

There was an interesting article in Saturdays Times by a sufferer from Long Covid finding nicotinic acid helpful. I ‘m wondering if anyone knows anything about this and whether it might be worth bringing up on Saturday at the AGM?

I took a look at the website:

webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-6142....

Vitamin B3 (Nicotinic Acid)

to see if there was anything in relation to Long Covid and PMR.

Now I am not a medic in anyway and I also looked at other entries.

I can understand, sort of, the thinking that Long Covid bears some resemblance to other Auto immune illnesses with long term problems, fatigue etc.

Hopefully someone will come along and enlighten me.

Thanks for replying so promptly: I don’t think I’ll pursue this topic .

Not sure I see why to be honest - unless you know the mechanism of a problem, you are stabbing in the dark for solutions.
