What To Ask my GP Today

Good morning all I'm second week in on being newly diagnosed on 20mg prednisolone .I do feel better about 50% GP today what should I be asking. I have a very understanding manager and I have had a change to my work so now doing a 6 hour day and work from home on 1 . Should I be completely resting ?

I've already found a busy 6 hour day left me feeling quite sore and stiff again

Suppose it depends what you do - I worked long days with unmanaged PMR to meet deadlines but I was a freelance translator so no work meant no pay either and all I had to do was get to the computer! It might be an idea to have some time of on the sick if you can until the pred has had a chance to properly sort out the inflammation. It will take longer if you are working - almost inevitably. Total rest isn't necessary but heavy activities aren't helpful.

Thank you for your reply I'm actually a skills tutor working with medical students and doctors in training so August is big change over. Also a refurbishment looming so emptying the room I think I need to manage my days better build in more time at the computer so I'm not being to physical I'll see what my GP thinks today
