I was all set to have my operation on my hip (reattachment of muscles) after it had been cancelled 3 weeks ago, I’ve just found out they forget to add me to the list for op next week.
No idea now when it’s going to happen now.
Feel so disappointed .
😟
Ps, forgot to add, upping my pred to 10mg has really helped with the pain in my shoulders. Thanks for all your help .

I would be writing to the legal department at your hospital that does complaints, possibly with a cc to the CEO. It's one thing cancelling for a good reason - "forgetting" is another. It worked for my daughter last summer after her "very urgent" op had been postponed for months because of Covid. Don’t let them off the hook. Make as much noise as possible, otherwise they will just carry on in their own sweet way and put you at the end of the queue. I must admit I am amazed they admitted to an error, very unusual, probably good news for you though.
I would be very upset, too. Do chase it up vigorously. We tend to let them get on with it and make allowances for their challenging times etc, but this was inexcusable error on their part. Good advice from Pmrpro.
