I have also been taking the same Turmeric + tablets from Future You, on subscription, for almost a year now. I’ll never know if they’re helping but we will try anything, won’t we? I’ve got down, in one year, from 15mg to 6.5mg of pred following the DSNS method and, apart from one initial blip, it’s going well so far. I shall keep taking them! I hope they help you too, Rover25!
I know a lot of people swear by it in cooking - but do be careful with the high dosed supplements as for some people they cause stomach upsets and for others they are contraindicated because of other medication such as anti-coagulants. Turmeric may make bruising worse too as it is a natural anticoagulant, especially in combination with pred.
Rover25, I have been taking another brand of turmeric for a few months and it really helps cut down on osteoarthritis inflammation.
In my case, as in many others, I have only one choice of delivery because of GERD. It only takes one mouthful of any kind of spicy food to have me in pain for days. I bring this up in hopes that it might save someone all of that. I take it in capsule form and always with food to avoid trouble. So far, so good!
