I have had a clicking in my right jaw for about 4 weeks now. Now it is more achy, and hurts when I eat, also hurts when I press my face just in front of my right ear. No other symptoms so don't think it can be GCA.

Sounds very much like temporomandibular joint dysfunction. I got this during the time Pred weakened my muscles but it can happen to anybody. Have a read of this and perhaps see a dentist for confirmation. mayoclinic.org/diseases-con...
GCA jaw problems feel like the muscle is becoming tired and stiff when chewing like your leg muscles when you are running too hard.
You have PMR and you don't think it could be GCA - me I would be getting it checked out pronto.
