So glad of all the various views on here. As a newbie I thought I should do what rheumatologist told me, but after she denied I had a flare (unseen and communicating via nurses) without giving a reason, I had my doubts. She referred me to GP who agreed with me and advised raising rather than lowering prednisolone. With good results. Now I see infinite flexibility is the way forward - particularly having noticed Dorset Lady’s Slow Taper. Tips for insomnia also helpful and the general feeling of being on various decks of a friendly boat with people willing to help is so reassuring. Thank you to all
