Bed time dosing

Please sort out my confusion.I've been takin g 7.5mgs of prednisone at 2am and rather than set the alarm I decided to take it at bedtime.Took my dose at 2am Sun for that day then took it at 11pm for Mon.Is that correct and what mischief have I done myself, if any?When do I take the next dose?I'm thinking Monday night for tuesday . Please someone.set me straight and thank you

Doubt if you’ve done yourself any mischief...and stick with new routine - you soon find out if it suits or not.

Yes, you’re confusing yourself because you took one dose earlier (so you actually took 2 doses on Sunday) .....if it’s easier just take another tablet out of the packet ....so that you take the right tablet on the right day....it will soon make sense.

That's right - all that happened is you should have had a bit bette rday having had slightly more in the 24 hours. But not enough to do anything bad - GCA people have more than that anyway ;). And having switched to a late evening dose - that's when you take it now until you find out if it works well. I'd be using a weekly dosette box - just in case you forget you have switched to evening instead of in the middle of the night.

I have a dose box but when I saw it ths AM it threw me off that Mon. dose was gone.I'll take Tues.dose tonight{Mon.}

You are just taking them 3 hours earlier - if it were midnight it would be the same day ...

I use the gastro-resistant pred tablets and if you take them at night, because the absorption is delayed, I like to think it's about the same as taking the uncoated tablets in the early hours!
