Can I say a big thank you to everyone for your comments today. I feel so much better tonight just reading them and knowing it will pass when I get it right. I had told my Dr that I had had some stress but didn't go into detail although she knew my husband had gone into hospital. I will definately keep to 13.5mg for a couple of days to see how things go and when she phones I will explain what I have done and why. You are a great group of people with a lot knowledge which has been a godsend to me. All because of your experience with this illness and kindness. Thank you all once again. ❤️

Take care C22M and glad you are feeling happier and with more information to talk to the Doc. about. This is a "funny" old disease and takes a bit of getting your head around. If feeling down, just need a chat or information there is usually someone around whatever the time of day or night. Take care
Good that we helped, and as Bcol says, that’s what we are here for. We may not be or have been in your exact circumstances, but we understand.Take care.
Hi C22M. I was diagnosed with PMR in November last year and joined the group in January. I've found the group to be such a help in coping with the side effects of pred. I also feel tired and spaced out so you are not alone, similarly my wife is awaiting an operation so I can sympathise with situation. Take care.
Looks like we will travel this journey together as I was diagnosed with pmr same time as yourself. Hope all goes well with your wife's op. Stressful time. We must listen to people on this site as they have so much knowledge of this Illness. All the best.
