Same place pain

Does everyone get the worse of their pain in same place? Mine is all over but my knee hip and neck always seem to be worse even after days of hardly any pain it seems to always be worse in these places

Yes. Top of my shoulders and into the sides of my neck

Hi Karen, mine, like scramblegg, when I get it, is in top of shoulders and side of neck. My knees are grumbling at the moment but I am fairly sure that is my OA not PMR

Same here.

I have always said that PMR seeks out your weak spots! I have myofascial pain syndrome as a very definite part of my PMR although I had it before more conventional PMR joined in the game.

Ditto PMRPro. Pre PMR neck surgery site always gets hit hard - not unexpectedly also my shoulders and hips especially post exercise

Mine was across back of shoulders. That went and appeared at top of thighs, again at the back.

My lower back is painful and stiff every morning until I get moving and take my Pred,( currently on 8mg,after 5yrs+) not sure if it's still PMR. Hoping to have a face to face appt with Specialist in March. 🤞

I'm beginning to realise that I don't get pain in the same place 2 days in a row, it jumping about like a jelly bean

That's not really typical of PMR - in what way?

Yhe pain is usually worse in same place like knees neck. One day it worse in my neck next it worse in knees then back to neck and goes on like that, just even though it pain all over it seem to be worse in certain places at different times
