Hi, thanks for all your replies, Just to keep you updated I have had a second phone call from the physio, told her it seemed worse. She won't send me for a scan or x ray but has given me a face to face appointment on the 19th January Also told me to ring Doc and see about trying different pain killers. That will have to wait until after Christmas now but at least I feel I am getting somewhere with the appointment. It's good that you are all there to talk to. I hope you all have a happy Christmas and hopefully next year will be better for us all. Merry Christmas 🎄X

Read up on Myofascial Syndrome. PMRpro wrote an article yonks ago and it was a relief to put a name to it. Acupuncture frees me of pain, as it keeps on coming back.
