Blood tests?

My blood work is now very good (except for kidney problems) - ESR 20 CRP 6 (8 1/2 years PMR, 4 mg pred now).

How often should I now have blood tests?

If you aren’t taking other medication that needs monitoring with tests I would say every 3 (or even 6) months is probably enough.

As we are always saying, symptoms are they key, so I’m sure if you were worried you could request a test...even in these difficult times.

If they are stable it doesn't need to be as often - but I assume that the renal function is also being monitored? I'm supposed to get renal function checked every 3 months (for medication use) - while they are sticking a needle in they might as well do other things as well.
