Tingling in feet and hands - could it be from 60 mg prednisone or more related to GCA symptoms?

I have been on 60 mg of prednisone for 9 days and I’m experiencing painful tingly feet and hands along with my continued headaches. . I’m thinking it’s maybe the water retention causing it- has anyone experienced this?

I see you are still our Bro- 😆.Pred made my hands and feet tingle and burn. The highest dose I was on was 40 mgs. Ordinary base cream seemed to calm things. I have even had a fan blowing on my feet. More worrying is your continued headaches. This may mean that you need a bit more Pred to get on top of the inflammation for a bit. I should tell your doctor.

Thank you!! I am seeing a neurologist on Thursday - highly recommended by my Drs. At least I feel more at ease with the feet I’m getting my fan out tonight. And yes I’m still Bro- might as well keep it now

Could you have a look at your profile - under age it says 43, in your profile you say 54!!! And could you add country? Even within the UK it makes a difference to what we'd say about some things!
