GCA is suspicious

Suspicious vascular temporal scan done last week,seen Consultant eye Doc., found no problem with my sight commenced Pred 45mg daily for 2weeks then to reduce by 5mg every 5days.Awaiting Rheumatology appointment.

Then what? Do you know? Large cells were identified in my arm pit during the Ultrasound Scan. LVV might have been present from the beginning of my fairly classic symptom PMR.

I doubt u/s showed the giant cells - you need histology and a microscope for that! It will have been the halo sign she saw.
