I read this and thought, we have Scots on this forum.

So especially for our Scots: neighbourhoodalert.co.uk

However some it applies to the rest of the UK as well.

Thank you for the link to Neighbourhood Alert. Sorry Dorset Lady but the link worked perfectly well for me. I had never heard of such a thing but have signed up. If it warns me about scams etc, all well and good. Hamish, Edinburgh.

DL helps keep me on track - a good friend - thank goodness.

My friend who lives in the Borders told me about this years ago .

We both also use The Ferret - theferret.scot - it has served us well over the years.
