Spring can come in many forms, it isn't just the weather. For me spring means change and the coming of something new and fresh...it may mean feeling better or it may mean better coping skills. Spring means hope, not for miracles necessarily...maybe holding my own and being limited only by my own decisions and not the warnings of caution and fear (often well intended).
I know it is only January....but I need to have a 'carrot' out there to look forward to....so I wish you ALL a wonderful spring, whatever that may be for you personally (I salute your courage...you give me strength)

The return of the light does come full of promises. And that comes with Candlemas, not so very far away, the halfway point between winter solstice and vernal equinox.
I have two families of goldfinches in my garden. It has been a joy to watch them at the bird feeders about 3 metres from my window. They are like this little bird with a red crest. I have seen as many as13 in one go.
Things are growing already. It is getting lighter. X
It's beautiful here too. A foot of new snow on top of the already 2 feet, and we have 4 more months of winter. Just think how beautiful lush green the grass will be after the winter run off. The fishing should be good with lakes and rivers at full capacity. Now this is optimism👍
Yes agree entirely- we need to try to maintain hope regardless of circumstances- not always easy but we continue on - the weather does make a difference doesn’t it? Bright and sunny here at the moment.
