I have just finished 12 days at 7.5mg after deciding to drop the 7.5mg x 3 and just get on with it. My CRP 2 weeks ago was 9 and I have and do feel well. My energy levels are good (for me) and apart from feeling dosy a couple of times per day have energy to clean/cook and do things.
But......am aching. Just between my shoulder blades. Feels like the old myofascial pain when on much higher doses of Pred. Am certain it's not a flare and am hoping you will reassure me it's not.
I really want to stick with 7.5, the lowest I have been in 3 years

The pain/ache is not constant. Right now I can't feel it.
Having said that, I might feel it tomorrow as we've just lugged heavy furniture around to bring me into the warm lounge from out under the cold stairs.
I sound like Harry Potter, but the stairs are open and my desk and laptop are under the mezzanine. I was cold and now after 30 mins of lugging, sliding, sweeping and cleaning I am way too hot lol
Mark has been unwell for a week (getting better now) so I have taken up the slack. This included bringing in the wood for the woodburner, our only source of heating and doing all the jobs I normally expect him to do.
I have felt fine and stop and rest in between.
I am leaning towards I am doing too much (or more depending on your view point).
On a PMR level I feel good and have more energy once I get going in the morning. I'm getting around to coming down to 7mg on one day when I next do my pills.
