At last; a large medical trial to test use of cannabis to control symptoms in certain conditions.
There’s an article in The Guardian today outlining the details. Conditions to be included are chronic pain, epilepsy, MS, PTSD, Tourette’s, anxiety disorder and history of substance abuse. It’s going to use up 20,000 people and trial use over a two year period. The first trial of its kind Europe and called Project Twent21.

It seems Prof David Nutt is running the trial over the next two years. He was the person who MP Alan Johnson dismissed from the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs as he said he was being controversial.
