we are delighted to let you know that our President, Professor Bhaskar Dasgupta, is presenting a performance that he has written and co-directed. It is an audio visual production with narration, play, music, poetry and dance celebrating the lives and work of three generations of one of Bengal’s most well know and pioneering family – The Rays.

The Rays are the family that created children’s stories, nonsense rhymes, surreal music and the most wonderful films ever to come out of the sub-continent.

The production is brought to life by well acclaimed group of UK based vocalists, dancers, actors and instrumentalists with a string of highly regarded programmes in the UK and abroad.
