I have pain which which may be due to polymyalitis rheumayica but is not constant, some days only arthritic pain. I have had bearable arthritis for some time.

I am interested know other peoples experience of diagnosis of polymyalgia rheumatica.

and welcome.

That question could open a whole can of worms - many have very differing stores - am I sure you get plenty of answers - but it might be easier to ask specific questions.

In the meanwhile have a look at this, it might give you a better idea of PMR - if you're not too sure what's what

In a nutshell polymyalgia is normally bilateral in the shoulders and/or the hips. In my case it became excruciating so I was unable to get out of bed or dress myself. It is muscle pain not joint pain as for arthritis.
