Enteric coated prednisone

My insurance will no longer pay for Rayos. What is the name of an enteric coated prednisone other than Rayos? I can't find one.

Thanks

Rayos is NOT an enteric coated form of pred- the coating is different and the aim is for the pred to be released IN THE STOMACH but 4 hours later.

Enteric coated pred has a coating that means the tablet passes all the way through the stomach without being broken down, to protect the stomach lining from any irritation.

Enteric coated/gastro resistant pred is ONLY available in the UK< nowhere else in the world.

An alternative is to buy gastro-resistant capsules and put the pred inside them.

That is what I thought. I just saw it listed on two different sites as Enteric coated.

I guess they are trying to confuse me :)

Thanks

I wrote to Healhline to tell them their article is misleading! I hate it when they can't get simple facts correct! Opinions are subjective, the patented coating on a tablet is not ;)
