Tapering down

Thanks to all for replying I will have a good think about it and probably try getting down to 5 as renal doc said but at the first sign of getting worse I will go back to 7.5

I have never seen a rheumatologist

I rely on my renal consultant and that is only one out of at least 4

It’s a horrible thing this pmr nothing straight forward about it

But thanks all

Hi,

Have just answered your previous post.

I understand why your renal guy is involved, but it would be a good idea to see a Rheumatologist I think considering your medical problems.

PMR is not pleasant for sure, but if you are being treated correctly - i.e. on correct level of medication it should be a bit more straightforward.

Good luck.

And whatever you do - head for 5mg just 1/2mg at a time! If you try dropping the entire 33% at one go it will be disastrous!
