Morning everyone, thank god the weather seems to be changing and we are in for some sunshine again! and we have bank holiday to look forward too. My latest purchase is a compact caravan, my wanderlust adventures start on Saturday and I am off with the dog and my friend and her dog to Yeovil. Never towed a caravan or set one up once parked - plenty of potential for hysterics and drama!
I also wanted to update on the Leflunomide - I'm not noticing any miraculous changes yet and wondering if its still too soon !? I'm not going to reduce my pred (5mg a day) until the Leflu has kicked in. This morning for example I didn't take all my pills until about 9.30 when I got into work and I am definitely noticing it.
Everyone is different and leflunomide DOESN'T work for everyone - even though the pilot study was claimed to have been a success for all the patients.
Have fun camping - been our preferred holidays for 45+ years! But we now have a camper van - nothing to tow, nothing to set up. Hope you get good weather - I'm just cringing at the forecast for Weds in the north and what might come in Scotland afterwards ...
It hasn't been too bad thus far - just a tad draughty on the North Yorkshire moors - but the forecast for the NE and Scotland isn't too bright for the next few days!
Memories of a family holiday in South Wales when the family friends caravan rolled and hit the front of our car. Bloke and my dad having a "put the brake on next time" conversation through gritted teeth. Then dad releasing our caravan which shot off down the hill with my 12yr old bro spreadeagled on the back running backwards....it went 30yds down the field and tipped on top on my brother in a ditch. My dad had hung on to the towbar bit with no joy. There were about 8 of us chasing after them.....screaming and laughing. Dad was not pleased...and bro was a bit nettled. Good first day....good memory. Thanks.🤣🤣🤣
