Possibly of use to some if discussing fatigue with doctors?
Here’s the article that I read re FAS in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). medscape.com/viewarticle/91... The FAS was tested in those with SLE, primary Sjögren’s Syndrome (pSS) and Healthy Volunteers. Scores in this test showed “Conclusion: The FAS is a promising tool to measure fatigue in SLE. Patients with SLE display a significantly higher level of fatigue than HV, which is even more pronounced in active disease and comparable to fatigue levels measured in pSS.”
“The FAS score was significantly increased in both SLE and pSS compared to healthy subjects. Median (IQR) FAS was 23 (17–32) in SLE, 27 (20–34) in pSS, and 16 (14–18) in HV (p = 0.001).”
I haven’t even got up yet & l’m too tired to complete the questionnaire!

😂😂😂 it good to know but I still have a dog that needs toileting. Little boy next door asks why she can't use a toilet. I wish I had trained her to do that.

The good to know was the score not that you were still abed btw. 😂😂😂. I may stay in bed until lunchtime today.
Didn't need that to tell me - but the fatigue I feel in the mornings at present isn't the same as the feeling that I have the rest of the day that makes me look at/think of what should be done and say, sod it ...
OTOH, have been dragged out by OH 2 mornings in a row to see about applying for my Italian pension (no money worth speaking of but my entitlement to nearly free medical care). I could barely put one foot in front of t'other to start - but after walking into town and back to the car having had an icecream I felt so much better despite the dodgy knee.
SO: question is, how does one overcome the internal Schweinehund when one doesn't have a Hund???????? And no - don't even think of suggesting it ...
Wow I scored 30 and didn't think I had problems with fatigue. I guess I do!
I used a pencil to add up this time....instead of early morning brain (and eyes). 38. So still a pain. It's a good job my mind is resisting that number. 😂😂😂
I did try and plant remaining seedlings in the past hour or so. Had to hose out the old pots and fill 1 with compost. For the sad looking patio potato seedlings. I had to bend over the fence to rest sweating like a furnace worker. Got my bottle of water and laying down before I have a shower. Spoons gone....think I must have used them moving compost. 😓
I managed to put 3 plants in the ground yesterday (after getting up at 3pm). Dizzy, dizzy, dizzy, had to keep sitting down to recover, felt dreadful. The little girl next door thought I was playing hide & seek!
